ted talk#2: IN cold blood connection
In Jim Fallon's TED Talk, In the Mind of a Killer, Fallon discusses the mental and neurological effects on the brain of psychopathic killers. Fallon notices that the interactions of genes, brain damage, and environment all cause people to become killers. In Cold Blood the two killers are Dick and Perry are planning to commit a murder with an unknown motive. The unknown motive intrigues me. We also do not know too much about the killers past except that they were in jail together. Maybe the unknown past can be the cause of the killings. Maybe the interaction of genes of their parents caused brain damage that got them into jail, and with that hostile environment made them have a hostile reaction to kill the innocent Clutter family.
